                                          Philosophy

My teaching philosophy is simple:

There is no one way to swing the golf club. In order to hit consistent solid shots, the golf swing must produce the following result -

  • A club face that is traveling on the proper path.

  • Club face square to the target.

  • Ball contact in the center of the Club face.

  • The Club Head approaching the ball at the proper descent.

If this sounds simple, IT IS.!!!

If you have watched any golf on television, you have probably noticed that each Tour Player has what appears to be a unique golf swing. For a moment, try to visualize the swings of the following Great Players: Tiger Woods,  Jack Nicklaus, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Tom Watson, Ernie Els,  Fred Couples, Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino and LPGA superstars like Annika Sorenstam and Nancy Lopez. The list could go on and on.

The point is, each player on tour has his/her unique golf swing that produces repeatable solid golf shots and good playable miss hits. To be a top level player, one must "Own" his/her golf swing and be able to reproduce the golf swing under the most stressful situations.

Many "Good" instructors teach the fundamentals of  grip, stance, posture, plane. While these things are not unimportant, they are all Preferences, (Yes I said Preferences) in ones attempt to return the club face squarely back to the golf ball.

A great example of a preference is the Grip. Tour Players grip the club from very weak to extremely strong. Most grip it more in the fingers while some grip it more in the palm. If the way we grip the club is a "fundamental" how can so many players be at the top of the games with such different grips?

If  you would like to build a lasting, reproducing golf swing that works for you WHEN THE PRESSURE IS ON!!!

I can Help You!!!
